SOUTH BEND Virginia R. Engstrom, age 88, of Burlington, Wl, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Kindred Medical and Rehab. Virginia was born on April 1 , 1925 in South Bend, IN, to the late Richard and Agda (nee Bergman) Hafstrom. Virginia was united in marriage to James Edward Engstrom.

Virginia and Ed served in the ministry for almost 50 years with the Assemblies of God. Ed preceded Virginia in death in May of 1999.

Survivors include her loving children: Rev. Douglas Engstrom of Massachusetts, Bryan (Linda Lee) Engstrom of Oklahoma and Linda (Rev. Howard) Edwards of Burlington; grandchildren: Eric Engstrom, Chris Engstrom, Amy (Lonnie) Cohee and Ryan (Heidi) Edwards; and by great-grandchildren: Collin, Lacey and Nathan Cohee, and Brylee and Aevyn Edwards.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Journey Church Burlington with Rev. Douglas Engstrom and Rev. Howard Edwards officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the CHURCH on Thursday, from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Burial will take place on Friday, June 7, at 2:00 PM at Spencer Lake Christian Center in Waupaca
