Don Clifton Cleary

MUNCIE - Don C. Cleary, 82, died July 21, in Muncie, Indiana. Born in South Bend, he graduated from Purdue University and the University Of Notre Dame and was a WWII Army veteran. He retired as a manufacturing engineer from North American Philips Corp. (Magnavox) in 1989, after 221/2 years. He previously worked at V-M Corp in Benton Harbor, MI for 10 years and also worked at Bendix Corp in South Bend, Aeroquip Corp, in Jackson, MI and Kawneer Corp in Niles, MI.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Patrick A. Cleary (wife, Marilyn) of Yorktown, IN and Dr. Michael J. Cleary (wife, Jane) of Grove City, PA and a daughter Barbara A. Yoder (husband, Dave) of Fort Wayne, IN and four grandchildren: Andrew, Nathan, Steven, and Linette.
