Harriett E. Pritchard, 89, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Healthwin Specialized Care. Harriett was born January 11, 1924 in South Bend, to the late Guy F. and Vera May Burruss.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert F. Burruss.

Harriett is survived by her daughter Patricia A. (Dave) Pritchard-Lesley, of Granger.

She had worked as an Administrative secretary for the University of Notre Dame, Dean of Administration. She was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Three Arts Club, Chicago, Senior Access to Health & Education, a charter member of both the Michiana Orchid Society and Notre Dame Women's Golf League, a graduate of Ray Vogue School of Design, a commercial artist for Marshall Fields and Co., attended Western Michigan and Indiana University, Bloomington, volunteered at Leighton Center, and supported many animal charities.
