Bertha B. (Bryant) Kovacsics

Bertha B. Kovacsics, 61, of 3305 Colony Court, Mishawaka, died at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Kovacsics was employed by the University of Notre Dame as a secretary at Corby Hall. She was born Jan. 25, 1925, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On July 5, 1947, in Tipton, Ind., she married Alexander Kovacsics. He died in 1975.

She is survived by three sons, David R. of Hartford, Conn., Bruce A. of Philadelphia and Eric J. of Orlando, Fla.; a grandchild; a sister, Rebecca Oblinger of Sweet Springs, Mo.; and a brother, Edward Bryant of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Notre Dame. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Zahoran Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
