BALSAM, Bettylee May 17, 1925 -September 3, 2017 Born in South Bend, Indiana. Died of natural causes in her Culver City home on September 3, 2017, with her daughter Lesley by her side.

Raised in South Bend until 1942 when her family moved to Los Angeles. She was a celebrated costumer and worked in the industry for 30 years. She was lucky to have two loves, her husband Bert Balsam of 57 years, and her companion Marshall Goldberg of eight years.

She is survived by her daughter Lesley Gold and her son Neil Balsam, and her grandchildren Aimee Rouff (Michael Rouff) and Stacy Herfindal (Todd Herfindal), and her great-grandchildren Maxwell Rouff and Goldie Herfindal.

Funeral services to be held at Hillside Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to Temple of the Arts located at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills
