HAMMOND - Services for Mrs. Elsie Hammond. 49. of Oak Park, Ill., formerly of South Bend, who died June 27 were held last Friday in the Ahern Funeral Home, Oak Park. Rev. Robert Gray. pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Park, officiated. Burial was in the Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, Ill.

Born Feb. 24, 1925, in South Bend, Mrs. Hammond had lived in South Bend until moving to Oak Park 18 years ago.

On May 19, 1945. as Elsie Balok, she was married to Donald B. Hammond, who survives. Also surviving are her mother. Mrs. Helen Katovich of Chicago; three daughters, Roxanne, at home, Mrs. Nancy Sigfried of Hanover Park. Ill., and Mrs. Kristine McElligott of Oak Park, and two sisters. Mrs. Alfred Robaska and Mrs. Kathleen Omundsen, both of South Bend
