Memorial services for Juanita J. Henderson, 60, of 1415 E. Corby Blvd., who died at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, in St. Joseph's Medical Center, after an illness, will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home. Cremation will take place There at Michiana Crematory. will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Hospice or the Cancer Society.
Mrs. Henderson had been an inspector at Easy Heat Wirecraft, Lakeville and a dietitian at St.Joseph's Medical Center. She was born July 19, 1928, in South Bend, where she lived her entire life.
In 1959, she married John Irving Crowley Sr., who died in 1968. In 1970, she married Clarence Henderson. He survives, along with a daughter, Sandra Jean Stone, at home; two stepdaughters, Margaret Bing, of Bloomington, Ind. and Carol Henderson, of Seattle, Wash.; two stepsons, Michael Henderson, of South Bend and Eddie Henderson, of Terre Haute; two granddaughters; two foster sisters, Peggy Jennings and Berniece Williams, both of South Bend; six brothers, David M. Thomas Jr., of Springfield, Mass., Donald E. Thomas and Richard C. Thomas, both of South Bend, Merlin P. Thomas, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert K. Thomas, of Columbus, Ohio and Charles B. Thomas, of Mishawaka; and her stepmother, Mary Alice Thomas, of South Bend.
Mrs. Henderson was a member of American Association of Retired Persons, Smoke Blowers International, Tough Riders Motors Club and Laymen Chapel CME Church
