Avonda Joyce Lusk, 31, of 26077 W. Edison Rd., died at 8 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital where she was taken about 1 p.m. Friday when she suffered what hospital authorities described as a cerebral hemorrhage in her home.

She was born in Joseph County on Feb. 10, 1929 and had lived here all her life.

On Nov. 26, 1948, in South Bend, she was married to Harlan A. Lusk, who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Holston of South Bend; four sons, Frederick H., Merrill, David Bryan and Lane, all at home, and five brothers, Earl F., Lynn L., Erdmann L., Modest R. and Leland M., of South Bend.

Friends may after 7 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lydick Evangelical United Brethren Church by Walter L. Mayer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Lusk was a member of the church and served as a Sunday School teacher. She also a member of the Lion's Auxiliary and the Warren Twp. Fireman's Auxiliary.
