Lillian Kedik (Hernitz)

Mishawaka - Lillian Mary Kedik, 92, of Mishawaka passed away on July 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born on March 8, 1929 in South Bend, IN to the late Mary (Simon) and Louis J. Hernitz. She was a very kind, sweet and well loved lady. She had a generous spirit and always prayed for everyone. She was an excellent cook and loved baking Hungarian dishes and always welcomed all the new neighbors. Her daughters' song for Lillian was Stevie Wonder, I just called to say I Love You.

She is survived by her son, John T Kedik; her daughters, Susan (Paul) Rambow-Petgen, Jane (Larry) Matz, and Lynne (Joe) Ness; her sister, Valarie Ifflander; 2 sister-in-laws Marge Armstrong and Mary Jane (Bob) Hood; 7 grandchildren, Lana Matz, George, Jennifer, Geoff Rambow, Joe, Tyler, and Monika Ness; 3 great grandchildren, Logan, Gwinn Marchioni, and Lilliana Rambow.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her late husband John L. Kedik.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lillian will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11AM at Queen of Peace 4508 Vistula Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Friends may visit from 10AM until the time of mass. Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola is honored to care for the Kedik Family.
