Mary Louise McCloud of Lake Barrington Shores Funeral services for Mary Louise "Lou" McCloud, 74, formerly of Glenview and Bradford, Pa., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 S. Brinker Road, Barrington, where she will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Road (Route 14 and Silver Lake Road), Cary.
Born Dec. 18, 1929, in Elkhart, Ind., the daughter of Edwin and Lenore (nee Konsanke) Buechner, she died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at her home, surrounded by family. Lou grew up in South Bend, Ind. and was a graduate of Purdue University. She was a retired packaging coordinator for Kraft Foods. She was active in her church, where she was an ordained deacon. Lou was also a volunteer at the Children's Institute Library in Barrington.
Survivors include her sons, David (Carol) McCloud of Pittsburgh and John (Dana) McCloud of Cary; grandchildren, Jessica, Iian, Chris (Shannon), Adam, Ryan and Katy; and great-granddaughter, Maggie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
