MICHIGAN CITY -- Katherine M. Janasiak, 78, died at 4:12 a.m. Thursday in Life Care Center. Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Janasiak of Denver, Susan M. Jensen of Castlerock, Colo., and Marianne Savage of Bohemia, N.Y.; a son, John of Edwardsburg; a sister, Teresa Yates of South Bend; and three brothers, Steven Nyikos of Broken Arrow, Okla., Joseph Nyikos of South Bend and Michael Nyikos of Elgin, Ill.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Root Funeral Home.
