SOUTH BEND — William Henry Meyer, 81, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Farner); sons, Thomas W. Meyer of Mishawaka, Douglas R. Meyer of Zionsville, IN, and Jeffrey F. Meyer of South Elgin, IL; his sister, Ruth Wagoner of St. Peter, MN; and a brother, Donald E. Meyer of New Braunsfel, TX.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St
