Wellington M. Good

Wellington M. Good, 78, of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007, in the home of his daughter. Mr. Good was born on October 10, 1928 in South Bend, Indiana to Thomas and Audrey (Smous) Good. He retired in 1986 as a dispatcher with the Overland Corporation.

On January 9, 1971, Wellington married Velma E. Daniels who survives. Surviving with his wife Velma are his children, Sherry (Jerry) Kurzhal of South Bend, Lois (Don) Wiggins of North Liberty, Indiana, Char (Tony) Krivak of New Carlisle, Indiana, Rodney (Lisa) Martin of South Bend, Jeffrey Martin of Virginia, John (Jennifer) Good of Rincon, Georgia.

Grandchildren, Derick Good, Matthew (Tracy) Wiggins, Taylor Krivak, Camden Krivak, Amber (Matt) Driver, Tyler Martin, Kayla Martin, Chase Good, Connor Good, & Christian Thomas Good; and great grandchildren, Landen, Faith, & Trinity Driver, Kayden Martin, and Matthew & Cosset Wiggins. A sister, Arlene Barber preceded him in death.

Mr. Good was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps during WWII and graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1946.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 South Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Indiana. Funeral services for Mr. Good will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home.
