Herman J. Altgelt

Herman J. Altgelt, 30, of Naples, Fla., former Moline resident, died Monday in Naples. Services will be at 1:30 Saturday Funeral afternoon Home with in Knox-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. William S. Mellish, pastor of First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The body will arrive in Moline tomorrow and friends may call after 7 tomorrow night, at the funeral home.

Mr. Altgelt, was born Jan. 26, 1928, in Bend, Ind., a son of Herman E. and Elinor Altgelt. He attended schools in South Bend and was graduated from DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind. He was a teacher in an elementary school in Naples. Prior to moving to Naples, he resided in Moline for about 10 years. Mr. Altgelt was a member of First Congregational Church, Moline

He married Vickie Westerman on June 21, 1957, in Naples. Surviving are the widow; mother, Mrs. Herman Altgelt, Moline; and two brothers, Rudolph Ernest, Akron, Ohio, and Frederick, Moline.
