F. Jerome "Jake" Doran

SOUTH BEND Jake Doran, 96, residing in South Bend, IN, passed away at 10:30 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2011, in Morningside Nursing Memory Care, South Bend.

Jake was born on April 20, 1914, in South Bend, IN, to Charles and Genevieve (Neenan) Doran. He owned and operated D&D Heating and Sheet Metal of South Bend for 50 years. Jake was a hard worker.

His wife, Jean Alice (Sibert) Doran, preceded him in death. One sister, Virginia Nowak, and two brothers, Bud Doran and Rick Doran, also preceded him in death

Jake is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Doran of South Bend.

Memorial services for Mr. Doran will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home River Park, South Bend, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
