Nicholas Chizar

Nicholas Chizar, 70, of 1021 N. Sherman Ave., died at 7 a.m. Monday in his home. He was a former employee of the Studebaker Corp. and the maintenance department for the South Bend Community School Corp.

Born May 19, 1915, in South Bend, he lived here all of his life. Surviving are a sister, Irene Wlodarski of South Bend; and a brother, Joseph of Claremont, Calif.

He was a member of Golden Hills Post 8748 VFW and an Army veteran of World War II.
