Louis J. Frederick, 83, of Crescent Hill, died Wednesday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of South Bend, Ind.: an artist; and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: a daughter, Mia Frederick: a son, Louis Frederick; and a brother, William Frederick.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Cave Hill. Visitation: L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave., 2- 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Memorial gifts: Salvation Army.
