Dorothy M. (Wood) Blake

Aug. 9, 1916 - March 29, 1993

STURGIS Dorothy Maude Blake, 76, of 209 First St., died at 1:50 p.m. Monday Sturgis Hospital.

Mrs. Blake and her husband owned and operated Blake's Garage from 1945 to 1977. Saginaw, She was born in Saginaw, Mich., Aug.  9, 1916, coming to Sturgis in 1945, from South Bend.

On Dec. 24, 1939, in Mishawaka, she married Alfred R. Blake. He survives with a daughter, Sandy Ryan of Chicago; a son, Bruce of Grand Rapids; and three grandchildren.

She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and Eagles Auxiliary Lodge 1314.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Foglesong Funeral Home. Cremation will take place and burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call today at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
