Nada L. (Wolf) Zabik

Nada L. Zabik, 66, of 4240 Hickory Road, died at 3:53 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was retired in 1977 from Martin's Supermarkets, where she had been employed for about 15 years.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1916, in South Bend, and lived here all her life.

In 1937, in South Bend, as Nada L. Wolf, she married Matthew John Zabik. He died in 1957.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Constance E. Wiersberg of Sterling, Va.; two sons, Roger M. of Lawton, Mich., and Matthew J. of Williamston, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Jean Morningstar, Mrs. Joan Jagg and Mrs. Rose Hosler, all of South Bend.

The Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.

ZABIK - Memorial Services for Mrs. Nada L. Zabik, 66, of 4240 Hickory Road, who died Monday in Memorial Hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Hickey Funeral Home. Rev. Camillo Tirabassi, pastor of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, will officiate. Cremation will take place at Riverview Cemetery with interment to follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
