Charles A. Whiteman, Jr

May 24, 1916 - May 23, 1939

Charles A. Whiteman, jr., aged 23, of 129 North Coquillard drive, died in St. Joseph hospital at 5:58 a.m. today after two weeks' illness. He. was born here May 24, 1916, and lived all his life in South Bend. He was a graduate of TriState college, Angola, Ind., where he studied aeronautical engineering.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Al Whiteman, sister, Olivia Whiteman, and a brother, Richard Whiteman, both at home. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church.

Friends will be received Wednesday in the residence
