Edward F. Wettergren

SOUTH BEND Edward F. Wettergren, 86, of Riverside Drive, died Sunday in Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center, after an illness.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude M. (Gorski); two daughters, Mary A. McKenzie of Sebring, Fla., and Margaret L. Smith of Indianapolis; and a son, Michael E. of South Bend.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Basilica of the Sacred Heart, University of Notre Dame. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be at 3:30 p.m. and a Elks Memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
