Lester R. Weaver Jr.

Lester R. "Junior" Weaver Jr., 72, of 3616 Langley Drive, was found dead at 4:09 p.m. Friday in his home.

The death is being investigated by city police as an apparent suicide. He was the owner of Viadock Inn. He was born Nov. 18, 1914, in South Bend, and lived in the area all of his life.

On May 3, 1980, in South Bend, he married Martha L. Allen, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mary Grace Stanton of Niles; and a brother, Richard.

There will no services or visitation. McGann's American Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
