George Wilbur Waters

JACKSON - George W. Waters, 87, of Fair Haven, NJ., formerly of Jackson, retired vice president of American Express, died Saturday in Fair Haven. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Ridgecrest Cemetery. George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home North Chapel has charge.

He was a World War Il Air Force veteran.

Mr. Waters, the husband of Pauline Waters for 60 years, also leaves two daughters, Diane Harter of Charlotte, N.C., and Millie Galligan of Rumson, , NJ.; a son, Larry Waters of Highlands Ranch, Colo, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The family requests that memorials be sent to Monmouth County (N.J.) Family and Children's Service or Central Jersey Hospice Visiting Nurse Association in Red Bank, N.J.
