William Herman Wagner
March 27, 1917 – Jan. 23, 2005
William Herman Wagner, 87, of 310 Oak Street, Osceola, Ind., died at home early Sunday morning, Jan. 23. He was born on March 27, 1917, in South Bend, Ind., to Wilhelm and Lillian Wagner.
He married Kathryn Minegar on Oct. 3, 1953, in Mishawaka. She survives with a daughter, Sally Jo Westlake of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; a son, Tommy L. Bonney of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Shirley (Dick) Rosbrugh of Mishawaka, Ind., and Joan (Bob) Zimmerman of Michigan.
A son, Larry Bonney, and a brother, Fred Wagner, preceded Mr. Wagner in death.
Mr. Wagner was a welder at Wheelabrator, Inc., in Mishawaka. He was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church and a former member of the Moose Lodge in South Bend.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 26, in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel, 1109 Lincoln Way West, Osceola. The funeral service will be on Thursday, Jan. 27, in the funeral home. Rev. Jeff Marshall, assistant pastor of Osceola United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
