Austin 'Tommy' Tomlinson

BUNKER HILL Services for Austin "'Tommy" Tomlinson, 72, Kokomo, formerly of Rt. 1, Bunker Hill, were held at 11 a.m. today in Allen Funeral Home. He died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Park Health Care Center, Kokomo.

He was born July 16, 1916, in Indianapolis to Harry M. and Mildred E. Sparks Tomlinson. He was married Dec. 25, 1938, to Martha O. Weaver, who died May 25, 1982.

He had resided in Miami County most of his life. He retired after working 10 years as a clerk for the United States Postal Service. He also had worked as a salesman for Mason Motors in Kokomo. He was a member of the South Bend Masonic Lodge #294, Kokomo Shrine Club, and Bunker Hill Lions Club. He was a former Deer Creek Township trustee.

Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Ann Moore, Kokomo. Barbara Jane Wilson, Denver, and Carole Sue Silcox, Greentown; a brother, Harry J., Kalamazoo, Mich.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The Rev. J. David Griffin officiated at the services. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo.
