Frank J. Szamecki

NILES - Frank J. Szamecki, 72, of 219 Green Gables, died at 1:35 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital after an illness. Mr. Szamecki was born May 16, 1913, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On 1 May 30, 1942, in South Bend, he married Agnes Meixel. She survives with a daughter, Jean N. Adams of Houston, Texas; a son, James Michael of Ann Arbor; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Szamecki was a retired tool and die designer from Modineer Co., where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church, South Bend, Eagles and South Bend Moose.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hickey Funeral Home, South Bend, where services are pending
