Edwin P. Sparazynski

Edwin P. Sparazynski, 90, of Plymouth, Michigan, formerly of South Bend, passed away at 9:45 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Angela Hospice, Livonia, Mich. He was born on September 9, 1915, in South Bend, to Valentine and Wanda (Bojewicz) Sparazynski.

His parents, son, Thomas, and sister, Clara Gherard, have preceded him in death. On September 2, 1939, he married Helen Kosinski, who also preceded him in death.

Surviving Edwin is daughter, Barbara (Philip) Horvath of Plymouth, Michigan; four grandchildren, Sheila (Jeff) Cousino, Sheryl Horvath, Scott (Marlene) Horvath and Stephen (Amy) Horvath; and seven great-grandchildren, Claire, Kate, Tom Cousino, Emma, Nicholas, Olivia and Grace Horvath.

Edwin was a member of Z.B.Falcons, Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club, St. Joseph Young Men’s Society, PNA 83, ushered at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church, was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1934, and of Alliance College, Pennsylvania.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 9, 2006, from 2:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m.in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. MAYFLOWER ROAD, SOUTH BEND. A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 10, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice and Care Center, 14100 Newberg Road, Livonia, MI 48154; and to Orchard Lakes Schools, 3535 Indian Trail, Orchard Lake, MI 48324.
