Joseph John Rockoske

Joseph Rockoske, 69, of 256 Westwood Lane, died at 5:50 a.m. Saturday in Carlyle Nursing Home. In 1978, after 45 years of service, he retired from the O'Brien Paint Co., where he worked in the laboratory.

He was born June 17, 1915, in Du Bois, Pa. He lived in this area most of his life.

On Nov. 3, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nev., he married the former Margaret T. Pinkowski, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Annie French and Marcelline Fry, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Monday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

He was a member of American Legion Post 50
