Virginia (Parker) Martin

SOUTH BEND Virginia Parker Martin, 77, of Fountainvew Terrace, Mishawaka, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday in the nursing home after an illness.

Mrs. Martin retired as a teller from First Bank & Trust Co. .

She was born Feb. 4, 1916, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

She is survived by a daughter, Judith Barnhart of LaPorte; a son, Louis of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Parker Bend: and a brother, Walter Parker of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before services on Thursday in the funeral home.
