Edwin J. O'Donnell

GRANGER Edwin J. O'Donnell, 83, of Kerlin Drive, Granger, Ind., died suddenly in his home early O'Donnell Friday morning. Mr. was bom Feb. 23, 1915, in Sterling, Ill., to Edward E. and Anna Marie (Cahill) O'Donnell, who preceded him in death.

Coming from Sterling, Ill., in 1926, Mr. O'Donnell was in various sales and service for 25 years. before retiring.

On Oct. 28, 1939, in South Bend, Ind., he married the former Mary Jane Murphy, who survives.  Also surviving are three daughters, Judith (Oliver) Wade of Lakeville, Ind., Karen (Paul) Baert of Clarkston, Mich., and Ann (Roger) Mathews of Newbury Park, Calif; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanne (James) Boland of Biloxi, Miss.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May, 27, 1998, in Saint Pius X Catholic Church, where friends may call one hour before services. Private family burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mr. O'Donnell to the Saint Pius X Catholic Church Building Fund, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530, where he was a member for many years
