Eileen Vera (Morfoot) Helmer

HOLLAND Eileen Helmer, age 95, of Holland, MI, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Oak Crest Manor. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John F. Helmer in 1998.

Surviving are her children, Dennis and Vicky Helmer of Granger, IN, Jimmy Helmer of Coopersville, MI, Trish Helmer of Stanfordville, NY, Mary and John Tropilo of Holland, MI, Kevin and Deanna Helmer of Arroyo Grande, CA, and Maureen and Bob Colin of Carmel, IN; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; also nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday at the Dykstra Funeral HomesNorthwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave., with Father Charles Hall officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Commons or Kandu Industries.
