John R. Miles

John R. Miles, 48, of 1224 E. Jefferson Blvd., a resident of Mishawaka most of his lifetime, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in his home at 12:45 a.m. today.
He was born in Plymouth, Ind., and was married to Ruth M. Almond in South Bend on Aug. 11, 1934. Besides the widow he, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Hammock, of, Mishawaka, and Mrs. William Masters of Carterville, Ill.; a brother, Ralph Miles, of Edwardsburg; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rehl, of Racine; Wis., and six grandchildren.
Mr. Miles, an employee of the Bendix Corp., for 30 years, had been assigned to the Mishawaka Bendix missile plant since its opening here. Mr. Miles was a World War II veteran and was a member of the Bendix Old Timers' Club and Bendix Local 9, AFLCIO
