Adam Henry Meyers

Adam Henry Meyers, 67, of 717 Rex St., died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday in his home after an illness of one year. He retired from the Bendix Corp. in 1979. Meyers was born on May 13, 1916, in Battle Creek, Mich., and lived in South Bend most of his life.

On June 22, 1940, in South Bend, he married Elayne Geipel, who died on March 12, 1980.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lucinda L. Neitzel of South Bend, Mrs. Susan J. Anders of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Gretchen E. Armstrong of El Dorado, Ark.; a son, Ronald L. A. of Lemoore, Calif.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Jean Goodman of New York City.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. He was a member of the Great Books Club and an Army veteran of World War II
