Kathryn Mae "Kay" (McKeough) Hultgren

SOUTH BEND - Kay Hultgren, 78, of East Madison Street, died at 3 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Hultgren was formerly employed with O'Brien Paint Co.
She was born March 6, 1916, in Detroit, living here most of her lifetime.
On 1942, in South Bend, as Kay McKeough, she married George A. Hultgren. He survives with two daughters, Kathy Rhoden of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Carol Edgell of South Bend; son, Thomas W. South Bend, as seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sister Noreen McKeough, O.P., of Adrian, Mich., Helen Leahy of Palm Harbor and Barbara Butler of Sarasota, Fla.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Cremation will be in Riverview Crematory. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurses Association or American Cancer Society. Hickey Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
