Patricia L. Poulin, 58, of 1520 Marigold Way, died at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a secretary in the philosophy department at the University of Notre Dame.
She was born July 28, 1916, in Detroit, and moved to South Bend in 1927.
On July 20, 1940, in South Bend, as Patricia Loveland, she married Harry E. Poulin Jr., who survives with a son, Dr. Thomas L. Poulin of Wautosa, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Swanson of Goleta, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Joan Shook of Indianapolis and Mrs. Phyllis Fish of Ann Arbor, Mich.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Church on the Notre Dame campus. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.
Memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Poulin was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Four Lakes Country Club, the Ladies of the Elks and the Shoe and Slipper Dancing Club.
