Marjorie Irene (Leonard) Markey

Marjorie Leonard Markey, 53, of 764 South Shore Dr., Eagle Lake, Edwardsburg, Mich., died in Memorial Hospital at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. She was born in South Bend Jan. 7, 1916.

On June 10, 1938, in South Bend, she was married to Raymond L. Markey, who survives. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Anderson of Mishawaka and Sue Ann Markey, at home; a son, Raymond L. Markey Jr., at home; two sisters, Mrs. Walter W. Cook and Mrs. Theodore B. Parrott, both of South Bend.

Friends may call after noon Friday in the Hollis Funeral Home where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev. William Amundson, of the Edwardsburg United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Markey was a member of the Women's Board of Memorial Hospital, of the South Bend First United Methodist Church; Chapter II, Order of Eastern Star and the Progress Club.
