Carl L. Lehman

Sept. 25, 1915 - June 20, 2000

Carl Louis Lehman, 84, of 31st, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, in the Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen, Ind. Carl was born Sept. 25, 1915, in South Bend, to the late Lisetta and Henry Lehman. Carl was also preceded in death by his son, John Lehman, and by a brother, Paul Lehman.

On Nov. 8, 1941, Carl married Helen J. Jerue in South Bend. She survives. He is also survived by his. son, Timothy (Susan) Lehman of Edwardsburg, Mich.; two daughters, Linda (Michael) Wilson of Carlsbad, Calif., Trudy (Robin) Ward of Edwardsburg; a daughter Sandra Lehman of Edwardsburg; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Elsie Kemble of Poway, Calif.

Carl retired from South. Bend Lathe in 1969 after 35 years of service, and was a lifetime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will take place at t 10 a.m. on Saturday in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of South Bend. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Marshall County, 112 Center Street, Plymouth, IN 46563
