Dorothy J. (Lechlitner) Orr

Dorothy J. Orr, 69, of 949 E. Fourth St., Mishawaka, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in her home.

She was born May 9, 1916, in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident.

On Aug. 16, 1935, in South Bend, as Dorothy J. Lechlitner, she married Thomas H. Orr, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon K. Orr of Mishawaka; a son, Bobby R. of Santa Clara, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Beatrice Young and Helen Dobbins, both of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., and •burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. She was a member of River Park Church of Christ, where she served as a sponsor of a high school youth group.
