John Louis LaFortune

John L. LaFortune, 77, of Granbury, died Wednesday, March 25, 1992 at Hood General Hospital. Funeral services were held Friday at Martin's Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Hiram Johnson. Interment was in Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.

LaFortune was born Aug. 4, 1914 in South Bend, Ind., and lived in Granbury for seven years. He had attended St. Edwards College in Austin.

He was a salesman for an oil company and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He married the former Eunice Duckett on Oct. 28, 1939 in South Bend, Ind. Survivors include his wife, Eunice LaFortune of Granvury; daughter, Janet L. Watson of Crowley; brother, James LaFortune of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Patricia Nycum of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and one granddaughter.
