Ralph J. Komasinski

MUNCIE - Ralph J. Komasinski, 81, died Sunday in Muncie Health & Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. Mr. Komasinski graduated from South Bend Central High School and Acme Tool & Die School in South Bend. He moved to Muncie in 1966.

He retired from City Machine Tool & Die in 1982. He was a member of Moose Lodge 33 and former member of Elks Lodge 245.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gertrude Komasinski; a daughter, Susan Maguire; two sons, Ralph M. Komasinski (wife: Katie) and Peter Komasinski (wife: Kathy); a sister, Irene Rieck, and four grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Mishawaka. The body was cremated and there will be no calling.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or the American Heart Association. Meeks Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
