Jack S. Kale

Jack S. Kale, 55, of 3612 Hickory Lane, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He had been in ill health since January. Born and raised in South Bend, he graduated from Central High School and in 1940 from the Indiana University Law School.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and Elks Lodge 143. Mr. Kale practiced law in South Bend from 1940 to 1946 when he joined the State Farm Insurance Co. as an attorney. He moved with them to Indianapolis and then to Lafayette in 1965.
A World War II veteran, he served with the Army in Europe.
In 1942, he married Marilyn Mohn. who survives. Also surviving with the widow are two daughters, Lise E. and Paula L., both at home, and his mother Mrs. Hazel S. Leberer, at Lafayette Care.
