Harold Harmon Jennings

Harold Harmon Jennings was born of Harry M Jennings and Mahalia Almira Race Jennings, in Utica, NY. The family moved to South Bend Indiana when Harold was 5 years old. Throughout his youth Harold was a participant in the scouts; this continued throughout his life even when he had a son of his own. He was recognized several times in Indiana for his commitment to scouting. Harold has an impressive resume having skills in aviation, drafting and mechanical engineering. He attended Notre Dame University but never graduated due to the war. During the war he was stationed in the Philippines working on the engines of the planes.

When he returned from the war he worked for Bendix Aviation where he met his wife, Olga Horvath who worked there as a secretary.They married and had two children; a boy and a girl.

He has received several patents for his work in designing washers for Bendix Home Appliances and was noted for his ability to organize and assist in the development of Bendix appliance plants in foreign countries.. In the 1950's the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. After 3 years the family moved to Pennsylvania where he continued to consult internationally with others in the engineering of washers, dryers and other appliances.
