Shirley Franklin "Frank" Hartstein

Funeral services for Shirley Franklin Hartstein, aged 24,. son of Mrs. Nellie Hartman, of 717 East Wenger street, who was killed Friday afternoon in an automobile accident near Ligonier, Ind., will be a.- m. Tuesday in the residence. Rev. Delbert Whitmer, of the First Brethren church will officiate. Friends will be received from 9 a. m. today until Tuesday morning in the Forest G. Hay funeral home.

The accident occurred at about 5:30 p. m. on route No. 6, five miles west of Ligonier. He was taken to a hospital in Kendallville, Ind., but was dead on arrival.

Mr. Hartstein had lived here most of his life, having been born here June 4, Me 1916. re He a was employed by the Indiana & Michigan Electric company at its Twin Branch power plant. He resided with his mother at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Lillie Garwood, in the Wenger street address.
