Services for Rufus Green who died at Memorial Hospital after a two-month Illness, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Olivet AME Church. Rev. Clarence G. Robinson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home by the members of St. Peter's Lodge 31, F&AM, of which Green was a member. 

Green was a Bendix Corp. employee. Born on Jan. 12, 1016, in Hickman, Ky., he had lived here 55 years, coming from Hickmann.

On Nov. 16, 1936, In South Bend, he married Agnes LaMar, who survives. Also surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. Mary Green of South Bend; three sons, Robert Lester of Hampton, Va., Ronald W. and Randall E., both of South Bend: two grandchildren, and a brother, Osceola of' South Bend.

Green was a member of the Olivet church and the church usher board.
