SOUTH BEND - Kathryn M. Jackson, 79, of East Ireland Road, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 21, 1915, in South Bend.

In 1938, as Kathryn M. Flowers, she married Carl D. Jackson. He died July 7, 1976.

She is survived by a son, Michael J. of Battle Creek, Mich.; two grandsons; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home
