BUCHANAN, John M. "Jack". of Burlington formerly of Lexington June 25, 2007.

Husband of Elsa (Nilsby). Father of Claire Buchanan and her husband Stephen Klomparens of Rockville, MD, Stephen and his wife Wendy of Lexington, Lisa Buchanan and her husband Mark Kelley of Boulder, CO and Peter and his wife Helen Soderholm of Burnaby, BC, Canada. Brother of Jean Neill. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 nephew.

A memorial service will be held Tues. July 3 at the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd. Lexington at 11 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John M. Buchanan Lectureship at MIT c/o Biology Dept. MIT Building 68-132A, Mass Ave. Cambridge, MA 02139 or to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St. Reading, MA 01867.
