SOUTH BEND Francis Joseph Boyer, 85, of Merritt, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in Cadillac Mercy Hospital, Cadillac, Mich.

Survivors include a daughter, Robyn Peters of Merritt; two sons, Francis J. II of North Liberty and William of Sawyer; and two sisters, Mary Stubbs of Tennessee and Martha Smith of New Carlisle.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Burkholder Funeral Home, McBain, Mich., where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m, today.
