John David Quimby

JOHN D. QUIMBY, 87, of Dade City died Sunday at home. A native of South Bend, Ind., he moved to this area 22 years ago from Mishwaka, Ind. He was an inspector for Bendix Factory in South Bend and a member of the Moose Lodge in South Bend and Eagles Lodge in Zephyrhills.

He is survived by his wife, Stella; a son, John of South Bend; two stepsons, Billie Gibson of Cascade, Idaho, and Robert Gibson of Lennon, Mich.; a brother, Lester of South Bend; three sisters, Lillian Katana of Dade City, Mary Lou Whiting of South Bend and Pat Reader of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and several great -grandchildren.
