Lucille Emma (Pope) Carithers

Lucille Carithers, aged 38. of 1417 East Monroe street, died at 3:30 a. m. today in her residence after illness of four weeks. She was born in South Bend. Jan. 15, 1912 and was married March 31, 1931 Cleo G. Carithers, who survives.

Other survivors are two sons, James Thomas and Barry Gail, both at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pope; a sister, Mrs. John Pine, and a brother, Thomas Pope, Jr., all of South Bend.

Friends may call in the Hay funeral home after noon Sunday until funeral services there at 2 p. m. Tuesday. Rev. William E. Clark, D. D., pastor of First Methodist church, will offciate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial park cemetery.
