James Martin Morrow Sr.

JAMES M. MORROW, SR., 88 of Grape Road, Mishawaka, died and passed on to a new life on September 12, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Jim was born on June 3, 1912, in Chicago, Illinois.

On April 17, 1971, he married Berenice Kaczmarek in Hillsdale, Michigan, who survives. He is also survived by a son, James M. Morrow, Jr. and a granddaughter, Megan M. Morrow, both of Solon, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, George Morrow, in 1995.

He spent most of his life in the South Bend area. He was retired from the South Bend Bait Company after more than 20 years of service, and from the Bendix Corp. after more than 20 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church for over 60 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #745 and the Scottish Rite of Michigan City. He attended Central Senior High School, after which he attended the University of Illinois, where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Solon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the donor's choice
